Throughout 2009, photographer Sacha Maric began a search for the ultimate ‘Thrasher’. Trawling YouTube clips of 80’s metal concerts, Sacha immersed himself in the crowd looking for fleeting moments that captured the aggression typical of the metal scene. Stripped away from sound and strobe lights, the result is a 48 page, oversized zine-esque book that captures a raw but gentle aesthetic.
