I didn’t go to art school and I didn’t pick up a camera until I was about 24. I was working at an ad agency in client services. It was pretty horrible. I decided to find a hobby and photography seemed pretty cool. I bought a camera and started reading everything I could online (photo.net!). Then I took a B&W class at ICP and everything snowballed from there. Within 3 years I had quit my job, traveled for 6 months in Argentina and completed what would be my first portfolio.
